TikTok dances can be very similar to sign language, which gave us an idea to fuse the two! We partnered with Esilense, a Sign Language Foundation, and created SignTok, a way to teach sign language using TikTok dance steps. With the help of sign language interpreters and famous influencers, thousands learned the dance in just a few days! On International Sign Language Day, we revealed that beyond learning a typical TikTok dance, people learned to communicate with the deaf community.

 

SignTok became a new method of teaching sign language in Chilean, demonstrating to thousands how fun and easy it can be to break down barriers of communication.
